Is this just another reservation app?
No. A reservation app only shows you restaurants that take bookings through it. In NYC, that’s about 3,000 restaurants across Resy, OpenTable, Tock and SevenRooms combined. tablescore has more than 30,000 NYC restaurants, and most of them don’t take bookings on any of those apps: the taqueria, the pizza counter, the bakery, the bar with the great burger. Wherever the leading critics have written about a place, you’ll see who and can read the review. And you can:

Do you rate or rank restaurants?
Never. We show you what the critics wrote, from The Infatuation, Michelin, Eater, The New York Times, Condé Nast Traveler and many more, with their name on it and a link to the original. We don’t score anyone. You read the source and decide.
Is it really every restaurant?
We strive to include every restaurant in every city we cover, and we check regularly for openings and closings, but we can’t guarantee we have every one. If we’ve missed a place, tell us and we’ll add it.

What if a restaurant doesn’t take bookings online?
You still get everything else we have on it, like its address, phone, hours, menu and the critics’ reviews, wherever they’re available. Plenty of the best places in any city don’t take reservations, and they’re in here too.
How does the food-video feature work?
Paste a link from Instagram, TikTok or YouTube into the iPhone app, and every restaurant the video names comes back as a list, with what we have on each: the critics’ reviews, hours, map and how to book.
Do you copy the reviews?
No. We name the publication and link to its own page. We don’t reproduce anyone’s words or photos. Some publications need their own subscription to read in full.
Do I need the iPhone app?
No. tablescore works the same on the website and in the app, with one exception: turning a food video from Instagram, TikTok or YouTube into a list of restaurants happens in the app. One membership covers both.
